I.V Artist Management
IVM is will always be big on artist development, which everyone knows is a rare thing these days as it’s not your typical management company that makes a few calls here and there and phone’s it in literally and tries to jump on train to turn a quick dollar or pound here or there. We are highly selective on which artist/artists we would take on as we have to believe they are artists that have the same work ethic and love of music that we do.We have always had our ears to ground and eyes on the look out to find the next Jagger & Richards, Dusty Springfield or Smokey Robinson and we strive to seek bands with chemistry and talent ala Verve,OASIS, Blur, Massive Attack, Mazzy Star.
IVM search out talented artists with voice as well as their own lyrical voice, also bands that have that apparent vibe and share our philosophy of artist development which is not about the “get signed get rich quick Major label deal”. Although we’ve had success in developing artists and finding homes for them with both Indie and Major labels in the past we still know know a large amount of development is needed to get the artist where it needs to be.
We want to work with an artist or band that wants to be a part of our creative community and can work work collectively with our existing artists or songwriters on our roster, again similar to the way Motown model was where everyone is writing, recording and performing with each other. We have a vast network of industry friends and contacts and help our artists move forward utilizing this network, which includes music licensing for TV and Film along with clever strategies in new media.
